The location of this hotel is spectacular, right between the historical River Douro and River Bestança, close to the incredible N-222 road. Had an amazing view from my room during my stay. As it was off season, the hotel was pretty empty, which was not a problem as I was able to get great breakfast and dinner in the property. There's free parking right next to the hotel. There are many small towns nearby to get supplies if needed and great opportunities for hiking and exploring.

Oliveiras Village — Agroturismo is located in Amarante and features a pool with a view and mountain views. The property has pool and garden views, and is 45 km from Palace Duques de Bragança.

It was perfect. Extremely beautiful place, installation and decoration. Inside the apartment we have everything we need. Little supermarket very close, and a good location to go and explore the north of Portugal. To receive the breakfast in a basket it is a very warm experience. The fireplace it’s not just beautiful, but easy to use and keep the room very warm and comfortable. There is also air conditioner, but of course it doesn’t have the same charm. I super recommend and I hope to back in summer to use the gorgeous pool.

Every detail was thought out for the most luxurious stay and it was full of surprises! I was so excited to stay but so surprised when we arrived by how incredible it was. I never wanted to leave. The staff made you feel right at home and I was so relaxed. We had s private wine tasting on the veranda by the vine leaves which I think was the highlight of my trip around Portugal 🥰 thank you a million times. Not to mention the architecture of the rooms, I could go on

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this little villa near the nicest beach on the river is! Nor to describe the host! August is hot and what better place to be than a few hundred feet from the beautiful sandy river beach, that you get to by walking across a private garden where you can eat outside and listen to the birds. Pedro was amazing as a host. He was always available to ask questions translate things with his perfect English (he too had lived in London for many years). My partner and I have been nomads for 7 years living mostly in airbnbs in many countries - this was probably one of our top 3!

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the river with woods above and large green garden. The house is comfortable and well equipped and lovely big windows in the huge living room. Everything you need for a family holiday. Lovely walks along the river and easy to get taxi/train to visit towns and wineries.
