We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

The wine tasting, the picnic near the river, the walk in the vineyards were awesome. The service in general was fantastic. Carlos told us so much valuable information about wines that was so interesting. The views were unbelievable. I liked also our room, its style, view, size, comfort, temperature - everything.

The room was very clean and tidy. The butler welcomed us warmly. Because we stayed in July, the butler kindly provided all kinds of fruits grown by himself, which were very sweet and fresh. Standing on the balcony, you can see a very beautiful scenery, a very satisfying stay experience. The most important thing is that we forgot the computer there, butler History called us and waited patiently for us to pick it up.

This is a beautiful place with a wonderful owner. Imagine living right in the winery! With breathtaking views of the vineyards and the Douro River. Martin is a wonderful host, very friendly. He taught us how to play a new board game, it was a lot of fun! We had dinner together and in the morning we had a lovely breakfast with an abundant selection of different local products. Martin also gave us a tour of the vineyard and winery and we tasted the wine he makes himself (delicious!). It was an unforgettable experience, thank you!

    The ancient house is situated within the vineyards. The house is already for 400 years in de family. Very friendly owner and staff. Breakfast was excellent (you could order any kind of eggs) and the bread was freshly baked. Dinner with wine pairings was top of the pudding! Nice swimming pool!

    Very nice owners, we were introduced to the whole family, grandparents and children. Good location. We did the trail from provesende to pinhao, very nice approx 4 km. Provesende is a much nicer village than Pinhao, Pinhao has the river and the train station, Provesende a much prettier village.
