Delfim Douro Hotel was in one word Fantastic, even with a minor incident, what the staff directly and very professional corrected. The moment you walk in, the staff is there. With all the friendly help and the pre-checking was quickly. Everything was in my eyes perfect. We loved also that the hotel helped employees with a handicap, to see the Hotel is not afraid to have employee in a in the wheelchair, who solved our little problem with all the professionalism you can get. The restaurant was great, good food for a decent price, good variety wine and loved the desert, Florest chocolate, you have to try it. :-)

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Awesome hotel, even for high standard people. All the services and facilities were super nice. A special mention to the great smell across the whole building. The swimming pools were also incredible. We could enjoy the sun with a view to the mountain during the day, and a very cozy indoor pool for the evening for full relaxation. The breakfast was delicious too. I can’t recommend this place better.

Location is amazing! Its in the vineyards. Stuff was very friendly. Lady from the reception booked a dinner for us in the near town, we just chose a place from a list of her recomendations and she did a call. We had a wine tasting in the property. Same lady explained to us about Douro region and wines. There is a walking track in the vineyards with QR codes. Breakfast was amazing.

Luis (the owner) is also the winemaker. Luis presented his wines, He shared what Douro wine region stands for, its history, regulations, and his own philosophy producing his exceptional wines. His Tia Pia Red Reserva is outstanding. Dinner and breakfast were great, we had breakfast on a small private terrace at our room, overlooking the vineyard (you can choose where to have breakfast). Great experience, relaxing 'no rush' atmosphere, great food, excellent wine and service.

Wonderful guest house in the main street that has been beautifully renovated. Comfortable room, well appointed. Breakfast is served at the top of the house with amazing views over the town. Zelda was very welcoming and friendly. She is not on site but comes to do breakfast which was delicious. Bread was fantastic! We arrived just after check in time (3pm) and no one was there but Zelda arrived very soon after making contact and we hadn’t given our arrival time as had been advised so no fault of theirs. Great location right in town.

Great hosts - friendly, knowledgeable of the area and suggested places to see etc. air-conditioned room, comfortable bed . Off street parking for the motorbike. Had wonderful breakfast and dinner both nights - excellent chef! Signage to the property from the N312 was easy to follow. Highly recommend.
