Meeting our hosts and their warm hospitality was a great privilege. They have invested much in this property and a real highlight for us us was to enjoy dinner with them, the table d'hote. We can't speak french but this turned out to be a very enjoyable evening for all of us - both using google translate. We learnt much from Reunion also. The weather was kind to us and we could hike to La Chapelle the next morning. It is in a quite part of Cilaos with of course the Piton des Neiges towering above the town

Absolutely stunning location and a gorgeous villa. Jacuzzi was fabulous looking out at the amazing scenery. Fireplace was magical as the air cooled.

Perfect accommodation if you need to rest a bit in the middle of your GR R2 hike. It is also a great starting point for the Piton des Neiges hike. We had everything we needed.

We loved this accommodation, the host did welcome us ultra friendly and he did pick up us at the bus stop - it helped us a lot and we highly appreciate this. We used this guesthouse as a starting point for our 4 days hiking trip and the hosts look after our luggage during our hiking. We highly recommend this accommodation. The view from the terrace and the atmosphere in this guesthouse is really exceptional. Breakfast was homemade and really tasty. If we go to Reunion again we will definitely visit this guesthouse. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay at this brand-new lodge in Cilaos. The host gave us a very warm welcome, the rooms are modern and stylish with super comfortable beds, and we loved the view of the Piton de Neige. Guests can use the shared kitchen and pool, and the private spa area (bookable just for your group) was a real highlight. The lodge is a little outside of town, but parking is provided and it’s no problem if you have a car. Overall, a beautiful place to relax — highly recommended!
