Very nice and cozy. The property is very well kept and the staff was amazing. You can enjoy a delicious dinner on the terrace. We stayed in the tiny house and it was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was excellent.

We loved everything about it! The hotel is practically an almost 500 year old historical building, and staying there feels just like stepping back in time! We have never experienced anything like it before! The room was clean and equipped with everything needed, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and the breakfast was nice too. The breakfast area is really cozy and beautiful, and there is also a sitting area with a pool table and a bar. What really made our stay memorable, though, was the girl from the reception, who cared for us in the best way possible and made sure we felt at home. Special thanks goes to her!

Location was perfect. There is free parking with plenty of space for your cars at the back in the inside courtyard. It has a Profi (grocery store) within a few meters of the hotel. There are plenty of other restaurants around the hotel and it is opposite a small park, great for small children to play in while you stay. You walk up the hill to the citadel, fairly steep on cobble stone roads, it takes about 5 minutes to walk up from the hotel to the top. The room was big and spacious, it has air conditioning, which was very beneficial on the warm days, and needed as the room can be stuffy at night. They have a mini fridge, modern bathroom which is spacious with strong water pressure and hot water. They have a buffet breakfast with varied options of eggs, (boiled, fried, scrambled, omelet) cold meets, bacon, vegetables, fruits and a tea and coffee machine.

My husband and I have visited Viscri 32 for lunch or dinner on several occasions, but this was our first time staying overnight at the barn—and it did not disappoint. The food, as always, is delicious and made with local ingredients, but this time we also got to experience the charm of the beautifully designed rooms and the peaceful sleep that comes with the village’s quiet atmosphere. There’s a lovely remote path from the garden to the parking area—don’t miss it, it’s a really nice walk. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.
