Georgiana and her mother were excellent hosts. Just from the moment I arrived at their place they offered me a free dinner. The location is about 1 km from the center of the village on a hill, no noise, no cars, only 3 friendly dogs and 2 cats. A very large yard, with trees and green grass, a small lake with some fish, hammock and a patio. Georgiana is very friendly end she enjoys speaking and entertaining the guests. She told me a lot of things about Rosia Montana and the life in the community . In the morning she offered me a good breakfast and milk from her cows. I encourage everyone to spend a few days in this magnificent place.

We recently spent two nights at RoVillage in the Apuseni Mountains and had a truly unforgettable experience. The location is remote and peaceful—perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature. The traditional Romanian houses are beautifully restored and full of charm, offering both comfort and authenticity. One of the highlights of our stay was the connection to the land and local lifestyle. The hosts raise goats, cows, chickens, and pigs, and also tend to a lovely vegetable garden. Most of the food served is produced right there on the property, and it really shows—everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Each meal felt like a celebration of local flavors and traditions. The hosts themselves were wonderful—warm, welcoming, and eager to share their way of life. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, tradition, and good food, we highly recommend RoVillage.
