Big beautiful room (more like little cottage), spacious terase, and outside shower with plenty of hot water with most amazing view. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Everything else was just exceptional. Stuff, food, activities, view, pool. Really one of the best accommodations we stayed in.

Everything was amazing. We received an exceptional welcome, the food was healthy and delicious, and we got all the assistance we needed for touring. My kids loved the lodge and all the activities they experienced, including cruising on Lake Kivu, swimming, enjoying the fishermen experience, and of course, playing cards. We had an unforgettable time. The owners, Aicha and Ivan, are incredibly kind and caring. It was a wonderful vacation. Umurobyi is a peaceful and quiet place - with a great view, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

It was incredible ! The hotel has an amazing view on the lake, which is a perfect spot for taking your breakfast. True definition of luxury ! Super calm, super comfortable bed. I stayed in luxury hotels in Rwanda but this one has been my absolute favorite. Amazing and super helpful staff too !

Excellent location with amazing views across the lake. Room was spacious and very clean. Hotel is ideally located in lake kivu and they were able to organise a boat tour for us as soon as we arrived which was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and they had vegan options as well as adapt menu items to be vegan. Prices for drink and food were reasonable and good quality. Would happily stay again.

Scenic location overlooking Lake Kivu. Very friendly staff. Well secured. Comfortable room with terrace. Copious breakfast. Tasty food (but too limited menu options). Excellent swimming-pool.

WONDERFUL PARADISE IN THE HEART OF RWANDA. Definitely it was the best choice. After a long trip we couldn't imagine how beautiful and relaxing this piece of paradise is. Everything was PERFECT, all details were absolutely cared for: Spacious room in an individual home with very elegant and local decoration. Best bathroom ever!! Huge bed, super comfortable. Amazing view to lake from the room. Wonderful terrace to enjoy a cup of coffee. The garden, the beach was extremely cared and clean. Breakfast and dinner was unbelievable. The staff was SUPER SUPER NICE, they helped with EVERYTHING. And the owner, such an impressive woman in charge of Paradise. The lodge has been finished to the highest standards. It hits the absolute sweet spot of combining chic with homely. Savine, your host at the lodge, is friendly, informative and extremely helpful. She has recruited and trained her team extremely well as they are all, from the security guard at the gate onwards, lovely and professional in their roles. If you choose to stay here you will not regret it.
