We had a wonderful stay in Vimmerby at a hotel that truly deserves the label child-friendly. The location is ideal for families, with easy access to both Astrid Lindgren's World and Leo's Playland—two attractions our kids absolutely loved! The hotel offers great facilities for children, including a cozy playroom and a movie room that made our evenings both relaxing and entertaining for the whole family. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it was easy to unwind. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged for both adults and children. We slept really well every night—it felt like a little retreat amid all the adventures. Breakfast was tasty and varied, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant served delicious food, and there was something for everyone—kids and adults alike. Plus, the town of Vimmerby itself is calm and safe, making it a perfect destination for families who want a vacation without stress or noise. All in all, a lovely experience and definitely great value for money. We'd be happy to come back!

Very kind and helpful personell. Kitchen is well equipped and it is easy to cook. Is was very quiet as all guests nicely followed recommendations from the hostel (as everywhere in Sweden :-)

The property is perfect for holiday with children. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the property itself is very spacious and children friendly. The houses were quite cosy and the shower/toilet facilities and kitchen were close by. They were clean and well equipped with everything that might be needed. If going with children I would recommend joining the tour about the farm and visiting animals- it was very nice. Our main destination was Astrid Lindgren’s world and it was about 10 minutes by car from the property.

The staff was really friendly and made us feel like home by being really courteous and always doing the most to make us feel welcome. We were offered freshly baked bread, the fireplace was lit up only for us and it was insisted on taking care of our dishes. Really the best experience we had with hostel staff!
