Super friendly and accommodating hosts! It was very easy to communicate with Khun Pa and Udo. They kindly picked us up from the pier and took us to a wonderful local restaurant for some delicious food. The homestay accommodation is just BEAUTIFUL! You can tell this place has been built with love and passion. We were very kindly upgraded to the pool villa as nobody else was staying and it was just stunning. Lots of space, comfy bed, GORGEOUS bathroom with special Thai touches of decor alongside a very modern look and feel. The pool is clean and a perfect sun trap for sunbathing. There is also lots of shade and comfy seating to relax and read on too. Breakfast was a German style feast with plenty of meats, cheeses, coffee, eggs and fresh juice. And of course we can’t forget to mention the friendliest dog in the world golden retriever Max who is ready to welcome you as well as slightly more reserved but friendly Sydney too! It really is a perfect homestay!

The bedroom was amazing value and super comfy. The staff were incredibly kind and facilitative considering the late time we arrived at and the fact their reception closes at 8pm (we arrived in at 11pm). I couldn't get breakfast the next morning so the lady who works reception/manages the hotel gave me a bag of homemade biscuits for my bus journey. They provide a list of recommendations for food and what to do in the area as soon as you arrive. close to the bus station.

Me, my wife and son were welcomed by Anne and her family with open arms right from the start. I can honestly say, that I have never been met with such hospitality in a hotel. Free snacks were available 24/7 and Anne gave us delicious fresh fruit every day (best mango I have ever had) and helped us with so many things, like arranging transportation back from the botanical garden (which is a recommendable excursion) and she also provided valuable information about the town. Everything worked in the room, it was very clean, everyone in the hotel was super friendly and it had a cozy atmosphere. Furthermore the hotel is very close to one of the oldest breakfast restaurants and several very trendy cafes. All of them located 5-10 min on foot from the hotel. Baan Bussaba has been our 7. Hotel on our vacation in Thailand and it had the best shower facilities and was the only hotel with a smart tv that had Netflix and such.

Such a gorgeous little guesthouse in an excellent location. Extremely friendly welcoming owner, who speaks fantastic English (always appreciated thank you!). It's an easy 20min walk from the bus terminal, very close to the night market, malls, and the central park. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed from A/C and fan to usb plug adapter, kettle, coffees/teas etc. The common area is a gorgeous place to hang out with plenty of seats, games etc. And the self service breakfast was perfect. Great choice of teas and coffee, boiled eggs, toast, spreads, cornflakes, and fruit. Couldn't have asked for a better stay and will be back!

After travelling 3 months in South East Asia and staying at so many amazing places, we felt that this stay was the best so far. Our host was the kindest most caring and thoughtful host that we have had, and we have had many amazing hosts. The family really have a great taste and they are super tidy and clean. You can see this everywhere from how their garden is kept and layed out to how the rooms are decorated. They offered us really nice bikes for free. When we were a bit late comming back from a treck to the nearby waterfall they went looking for us and drove us to the local thai food restaurant of our choice (great and cheap) just in time before closing (for free). The surrounding area is surprisingly great. Tons of really spectacular waterfalls within reach (1 by foot) a couple by bike + foot and a couple by car + foot. There is also an option to hike with a guide to one of the peaks with overnight camping. We didn't have time to try it out unfortunately, but all the waterfalls were really amazing, great to swim in in the start of the hot season when you need to cool down 😁.
