I had a great time staying here. The hosts are very friendly and offered to drive me around since the train wasn't running. They give the place a very personal atmosphere and the chat was smooth and very interesting despite the language barrier. Lovely people who love to host :) The place was comfortable and breakfast very good.

The best thing about this homestay is the family who’s running the place. They are all very nice and very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. For this reason I even stayed a bit longer than initially planned. One day I choose to drive to Alishan and back after I realised that every other place near the park wouldn’t be as nice as this one. Besides the great hospitality I’ve experienced I must say that the room was also very nice, clean and well equipped. The homestay is in a street which is very quiet at night and it’s a 15 tot 20 minute drive to Sun Moon Lake. If I ever visit Taiwan again I surely hope to be able to stay here again.

The owner and her daughter were really nice and even help us to translate for renting electrical bikes. The breakfast was very good ! We really enjoy our stay at this place. When it was raining, the owner gave us umbrellas, and even when we were going away, she offer us the umbrellas !! I want again to say thank you to them !! It was great, we really recommend this place !

Ark Stay is excellent in every conceivable way. The hotel is impeccably clean. We were especially astonished by the impressive spread of breakfast that lay before our eyes every morning. Free titbits and free flow of excellent coffee and tea can be had at the counter all day. Washing machines and dryer are made available for free too. The staff have been very polite and helpful. We must congratulate the management and staff for the excellent work. A truly motivated and happy crew.
