My friends and I loved Mina Chai House and it was the highlight of our time in Arusha-- we even booked a second stay after our safari! The location is secure, the rooms/beds are super comfortable, and everything is spotless. Seriously, whoever cleans this house should get a raise. Zena, the manager, is a very warm person and made our stay feel like we were at home. We also had dinner at the property made by Asha and it was delicious (and they make it spicy if you ask, unlike a lot of places for tourists!). Stay here if you can! Even my friends who are used to luxury hotels said this place was lovely and wanted to come back a second time.

The host, innocent, helps everyone with everything! He made sure I felt safe and also provided laundry service and a lift to the airport. Kindest & most helpful staff I’ve met on my travels! There is always someone there to help you. Very comfy beds & there’s hot water, teas, coffees & cold drinks to buy. If I ever return to Arusha this is where I’d stay again:)

Isaac and Irene are two wonderful and bright host. They know everything about Arusha regions and beyond. Ask them anything and they'll always try their best to facilitate your projects. Irene is a vibrant and smiling lady, a talented chef and artist. Isaac run the business and other farm, music and ngo projects like a boss. A truely inspiring selfmade man. You can have honnest talks and build strong relationship with them as they'll always be kin to share meals, party and good laughs. The house is licated in a quiet street in Arusha town a few minutes by tuktuk from the city center, masaaï market and commodities. The beds are very confy and beautifully decorated, you'll feel like at home. Hot shower, clean bathroom and functionnal power outlets. Ideal for solo travellers or couple, even for family. In the future Isaac — who also has a bachelor in wildlife & tourism and knows a lot about animals — will be able to propose a full experience including safari trips at a very low price for amazing service compared to lost of compagnies. He's also working on building an NGO to help a close by but remote village and will propose opportunity for volonteers. You can really trust them as they'll always teach you on the real prices in Tanzania, how to bargain and will help you book your next bus or everything you can think of. I felt part of your family and friends, and I'll come again one day for sure !
