At first we booked a hotel but when we found this place we canceled the hotel and booked this. And we couldn’t be happier with that decision! We loved that the place felt more like a home than a hotel. We arrived here to relax after 5 days of safari and it was exactly what we needed. The pool area was great, the room was clean, the hosts were very welcoming and warm and the dinner made by Cecil was delicious.

Everything was perfect, Isaac and Irene are amazing hosts. The complimentary breakfast is hearty and healthy, and dinner was provided for 5000 tzs. Isaac also helps to organize activities - Lake Duluti kayaking, Mto Wa Mbu banana plantation, Great Rift Valley hike, Maasai boma visit, as well as my safari to Ngorongoro and Tarangire for very reasonable prices. Isaac runs several other businesses in the area and he gives back to the community in his own way. I have many good memories of sharing experiences, stories and jokes with the other guests at Msovi, and I can see this place growing into one of the top guesthouses in Arusha.

I truly enjoyed my stay here! The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. The villa is incredibly cozy, with a stylish interior and beautiful wall paintings — it really feels like home. It offers not just everything for a comfortable stay, but even more. There’s also a kitchen, so you can cook for yourself, which was a big advantage. I especially enjoyed having tea on the terraces (both on the ground floor and the first floor — absolutely loved it!) while planning my day. Many thanks to Zuberi and Meru Villa for the warm hospitality! As he always said, “Meru Villa is your home in Arusha” — and we truly felt that. We even extended our stay much longer than originally planned. Special thanks to Ali — our new friend. He was incredibly polite and kind, made delicious breakfasts for us, and on the last day prepared traditional local dishes 🥹 His kindness touched me deeply. And also I was glad to meet another girl, who worked here. We cooked local food with her and had warm conversations.

The apartment was really big, comfortable, clean and had everything we could need. It’s located very close to the airport. We really enjoyed movie night and watching a film on a big screen. We cooked one night and there was everything we need to prepare our food. What’s more, all the equipment was new and good quality. The manager who welcomed us was really accommodating, meeting our every need and helpful. Definitely recommend it!
