The location was perfect for the areas I was visiting. There was enough around (food, gas, shops, etc.) so location also very convenient. The staff was top notch too!

The staff are friendly and efficient in every aspect of their jobs. The facilities are fantastic, this is our 4th trip to long island and we use the Whitman motor lodge every year.

I took the room for one night with my dog. The movers packed up my home in Massapequa on a Thurs and was scheduled to drive down to VA on the following day. I knew that day would be a long one, so I booked a room for the night. I was very happy I did. I was pleased with the room. It was clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. I plan on staying there whenever I go home to visit. I have no complaints with my short stay.
