United StatesI did not plan to offer a review. We only rented this place to have access to power, water, internet and still be close to home. We live on Lake Norman and were in day 3 of no electricity and were managing a generator to keep the fridge and the upright freezer cold. The shower at the tiny house was incredible coz it had been DAYS but was also quite narrow and small but it IS a tiny house. The shower in our RV is bigger! The bed was awesome, very comfortable. The decor is really well done, the Kitchen especially well appointed. The view is of the cove. It was nice. The sofa was not comfortable but it looked great in the room with the other pieces. I believe most folks renting would be happy coz they would be there for different reasons. The owner was pleasant and helpful. At first, we had to wait for the check in instructions but she was kind and apologetic and worked to quickly resolve that problem. We appreciate that. Perhaps, the problem could have been avoided if she had sent the info prior to our stated check in time. In our past experiences with remote check ins, they send the access codes and instructions 1 hour prior to the stated check in time. Just a thought. Things may have been affected by our literally renting the house 2 hours before check-in time. We drove over there first to make sure they had power and then pulled into the restaurant parking lot and made reservations there where we could access internet. It was in and out on our phones in our neighborhood. We were very thankful to have this sweet tiny house just 10 minutes from our house to get a shower, catch up on the world, access the internet and sleep in air conditioned comfort. Power came on at home sooner than expected so we only stayed one night of the two we had reserved. Our house is waterfront with views and just more comfortable or we would have stayed the second night coz it is sweet! We could see the potential for reserving this place again for when we have too many out of town guests!
