Family hotels and homes in Lusk

This is a very nice motel, especially for a family with children. There is a play yard and leisure space for all. Especially liked the large room numbers which made our room easy to find. Great breakfast bar with good protein. If we ever travel this way again, we definitely will return. Room was clean (including the carpet, which looked new) and comfortable. We could park right outside our room. The person who served us (maybe the owner), was friendly and welcoming. Was quite, too.

The welcome was kind and check in was quick despite our late arrival. The room was nice and big. There was a king sized bed, 2 queens and a sitting area. There was also an extra sink/countertop outside of the bathroom which was nice for our family of 6. The mini fridge with freezer, the microwave, large smart TV and the great breakfast with made to order omelets topped it off.

Perfect place to stop between Boulder/Denver to the Black Hills. Breakfast was awesome. The French toast was perfect. Sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes really hit the spot. In addition to orange and apple juice they had zero calorie fruit flavored water. The family run historic hotel was great.

Easy to find. Convenient stop between Denver and Rapid City. Breakfast was typical of simple US stop overs, scrambled egg, sausage, make yourself waffles, cereal, fresh apples and typically weak coffee but that seems normal. Room was average sized and everything was OK for what it was. Wee hidden gem of a pizza restaurant about 200 yards north down the Main Street, family run, so looks like it varies as to how open it was, maybe the best pizza we’ve ever had?
