The room was amazing! The size, decoration and comfort was exceptional. Definitely one of the most luxurious rooms we have ever stayed in. The lounge and bar downstairs were equally grand and a lovely place to have an evening cocktail. Staff were friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to stay.

Having my economy room upgraded to an oceanfront studio by Jessica immediate set the tone for an exceptional stay at Alouette. Even if the room had not been immaculately clean; even if the on site cafe did not serve a wonderful hot breakfast; even if the location had not been so well located—the Alouette Sunrise rooms would still garner rave reviews. The beach is right there, out your back door—the sound of the waves lull you to sleep at night. The room was spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette, and nicely appointed with granite in the bath and soothing neutral tones and simple furnishings—and a private deck to enjoy those incredible sunrises and sunsets.

    Checked in late at night with 2 tired children needing showers and to go to bed. Floors weren’t overly clean, then noticed stains on comforters. One looking like a food/spill. Then the AC/microwave/fridge did not work. They gave us fresh linens to change our own beds! Opened the window but had no screen. And maintenance did get the AC going after about a hour. But this is the best part when you walk in the bathroom after a shower the floor tiles stick and come up with your feet!!!
