Cannot rate this property high enough. Host kept us up to date with all information we needed. Super easy to access. Secluded location with great views. Lovely and quiet area. Comfortable throughout and well appointed. Fab lay out inside with hot tub and games room. Would love to come back here.

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The whole building is fabulous, steeped in history, and the rooms all have their own personality and character, with wonderful features in each room. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, the products were locally sourced and delicious 😋 The town of Stanardsville is lovely and has a great shop called Noon which features local artists. You could spend hours in this shop!

The cabin has everything you need, with high quality furnishings. It is in a great, very peaceful location. The hot tub is a real bonus and is particularly lovely for star gazing at night.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to many attractions such as Shenandoah NP and Luray Caverns. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very spacious. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evening. The breakfast was unfortunately disappointing and as always in the USA in no way comparable to German standards.

We had a wonderful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in a room in the main house, which was quaint. There was a fireplace instead of a TV, which made for a quiet evening. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when we stayed, but the starry sky must have been beautiful. (We were fine, but perhaps some of you may be concerned about the water pressure in the showers.) During the day it was clear so we were able to explore the trails. It was beautiful as well. The food was very good and we were very satisfied. We would like to visit again in another season.
