We spent two wonderful nights at Nam Pe Homestay. The family is very attentive and kind. The meals are varied and delicious. We really enjoyed the guesthouse's view of the rice fields and Ba Be Lake, the authenticity (wooden house), and the calm. They helped us with transportation. We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful homestay in Ba Be lake, ran by a lovely family. The homestay is in the small village of Pac Ngoi, there is not much here, just a few other homestays but it is a good location and it has a pier so you can explore the lake. The host organised a boat trip for us that was very good value for money. We ate breakfast and dinner at the homestay and it was some of our favourite Vietnamese food so far.

Beautiful location with stunning views of rice fields and Ba Be Lake (1 km away). The host is very friendly and helpful—communication via Google Translate worked well. Delicious home-cooked meals and an amazing 6-hour trek arranged by the host. Also the host arranged the transport to/from Hanoi.

It's a beautiful place and I recommend you to stay there! It is the first homestay when you arrive and therefore it has the best view over the rice fields. It was a bit difficult to find because on the sign there is a different name and on google maps it was not the correct location... We had a delicious dinner with the very friendly and nice owners. The room is small but the terrace is huge and with a nice view.

Excellent value for money, exceptional view of the rice fields and the lake. Quiet w relaxing environment and friendly, helpful staff. Dinner available at a price of 100K and it was ok. Recommended place.

Vingh was an amazing host, he looked after us throughout our stay, from picking us up from the minibus to sorting out our fab boat trip and insuring we got on a return minibus. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend this homestay
