Staff was outstandingly kind & helpful. It was my birthday when I arrived, and it felt like everybody in the hotel had been briefed on this fact! :) I received congratulations the moment I left the taxi, at reception, and later in the restaurant, and even got a little birthday cake brought to my room as a surprise. You don’t really expect such kindness and personalized service in international hotel chains usually! Rooms are also very spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast is great, hotel has great views over the river and the ocean.

Excellent location in an authentic vietnam house and neighborhood close to the water. Excellent service from our host, Hung, met us at the gate, arranged bicycle rental for our stay, and recommended the restaurant. 7th heaven restaurant was superb, pizza cat's over the big bridge has Excellent pizza. Photos of house on Booking.com are real.

I stayed for three nights. Nice staff. I got a better room than I had booked. Cozy room. Swimming pool on the 9th floor, warm water, almost no people. Delicious food in the restaurant. The place is quiet during the day and at night. In the evening you can hear some music from the restaurant by the sea. It's a long way to the center, 10 minutes by taxi.

Excellent facilities close to the Dong Hoi train station. We had great service. We were supported in booking a great cave exploration at Phong Nha Cave. We could use the room for a shower after arriving by night train. Compliments!
