Even though it's a little of the beaten track, Vu Linh homestay was pleasurable experience. Nam, who speaks good English, and his family made us feel welcome. Meals were excellent and there was plenty of happy water every night. Our upgraded accommodation with con, comply bed and hot water made sleeping enjoyable. Motor bike hire was on site as well.

The property is very big with enough space to park your motorcycle or even car. It’s a very safe area. You have lush green all around you. Next to the honestly there are rice paddies, other farms and honestays and of course the beautiful, huge lake. You can go on a boat trip with the hosts!

Exceptional homestay experience. The best lakeside location with comfortable terrace and steps down to swim in the warm lake. Staff so helpful...booked us some amazing trips and also found us a way of getting by bus to our next location....we would never have managed without them! May not be cheapest in area but its a proper local enterprise that trains up and provides employment for local people...they truly believe in giving back to their community. The food is incredible...every night a banquet of different dishes eaten with staff and other guests. Honestly the best food we've had in Vietnam. Rooms are rustic but spacious and comfortable. All in all an experience not to miss if you want to experience vietnamese culture and hospitality at its best
