Room was lovely. Linen was great quality and we really loved that they had multiple apps on the smart TV. The lounge area was also beautifully decorated! Staff were divine. All round, we had a lovely stay at the 360! :)

Communication with Erich was very good, he is a lovely host. The property is superb. Location is great Town is only an 800m walk or drive, and 30 min drive to Golden Gate Highlands National Park. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, and all good quality. Highly recommend.

Where do I begin? a simply amazing place in so many ways & absolutely undersold online. the photos really don’t do this place justice. the space, grounds, staff, views, style, history & privacy (all rooms en-suite), the stove fire places….I could write more!

Clarens Retreat offers elegantly furnished self-catering accommodation, just 5 minutes' walk from town square in Clarens. Golden Gate Highlands National Park is 21 km from the property.

The host was very responsive. Fresh milk on arrival for tea and coffee is always an impressive and thoughtful detail. The room had everything we could want and the restaurant next door was superb so we didn't use the self catering facilities.

We had a fantastic week week at Clarens Country House. Toni and Pete are warm and interesting people and we had nice conversations with them. Both location and facilities are perfect and we had one of our best weeks ever on holidays. I can advise this guesthouse to everybody. The location has good wifi.

This is an absolutely beautiful open plan cottage with a double bed in the living area and twin beds on the mezzanine above. It is fully equipped for all cooking needs including a Braai. The bathroom is extremely well appointed with bath, loo and basin and offers plenty of hot water via a gas hot water system.
