We loved everything about the Stoke House! It is located a very short drive away from the center of town, so close to everything Clarens has to offer. We had the main house and a smaller room adjacent to the house. It was perfect for our group. The main house had everything you could need and perfect for self-catering. Lindsey was super easy to communicate with and she was very attentive during our stay. We collected the keys at the brewery and couldn't help but to try the local Clarens brew and have a meal at the same time. Delicious! We will definitely stay at the Stoke House on our future travels through Clarens and the Golden Gate Park!

Immaculate rooms in a dreamy setting. The rooms were very large with en-suite bathrooms. Lots of extra little details made it very special. Like your milk in a glass bottle and some port to enjoy in the room. The hosts were super friendly and helpful with local knowledge. The breakfast was also the best I’ve had in a long time. It was different to the usual fare. Interesting and so very tasty.

Great place to stay in Clarence, in particular for golfers as the place is situated on the golf estate. Very helpful hosts. Gave us good pieces of advice before and after arrival. Clarence - great little town. Glad we went. Thank you very much Clarence country house.

We loved everything! The warm welcome from the owners was appreciated. They made us feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and immaculate, plus have all the amenities you need with a few extra things: like shampoo, body wash, and facial wipes. Loved that! They have a beautiful well-kept garden if you want to sit outside. We loved our stay. We had a really nice time. We loved the owners, they're fantastic - kind humans!

This is an absolutely beautiful open plan cottage with a double bed in the living area and twin beds on the mezzanine above. It is fully equipped for all cooking needs including a Braai. The bathroom is extremely well appointed with bath, loo and basin and offers plenty of hot water via a gas hot water system.
