Everything we expected and more, perfect for a group of friends looking for a wonderful authentic mountain experience. WIFI in a remote area was an added bonus if you need to work. Bikers heaven!!! Cannot wait to go back to share with friends. Angies G Spot down the road is amazing for a drink and some easy meals.

This is definitely a 'must-visit' place!! The setting and views are breath-taking! and the hostess is a special lady - she made every effort to see that we were comfy and happy! (loved the sheep grazing on the lawn). The old farm-house we stayed in is large and beautifully decorated, and the spacious kitchen is fully-stocked for large gatherings. The bathroom is huge - so i would suggest one half be added to the room as an en-suite (for full privacy), and the other half as a separate guest bathroom. This place is ideal for family gatherings! Highly recommended.

Incredible views over Simola golf course and Knysna heads in the distance. The sunsets are wow. Beautiful, spotless house situated atop a hill in Simola. By far the best accomodation for a group of friends or a family vacation. The house is so spacious - no matter how many guests everyone can get a little corner of it to themselves. Hosts, the owner and the caretaker were super friendly.

Beautiful property, delicious breakfast, very good price/quality. very friendly owners. we got an amazing upgrade and we were very happy with our 3 night stay! 10/15 minutes drive to plettenberg only and robberg hike.

This is a special place — the historical manor is every bit as impressive and charming as it looks on the pictures. The staff was friendly, breakfast and dinner fantastic. Our kids loved the pool, we loved the atmosphere and tranquility. There was an issue with our booking, but the staff found a solution that worked well for us. It is in the countryside, but only a short drive out of Knysna.
