The staff were excellent. Friendly and nothing was too much. Breakfast cooked fresh every time with good quality ingredients. Lovely coffee and a good selection of teas. We were offered an upgrade to a very spacious room. The internet was good and the television was also good offering netflix. We would definitely go again. Lovely big shower room. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The gardens were lovely with plenty of seating. The swimming pool was also excellent.

This lodge, only a few mins away from Jo'burg is a very peaceful place. You would not expect to find such a place within a city, but here it is. I enjoyed everything about it. A little piece of nature and of the bush in the city. The owner David is lovely, welcoming, always willing to help. very nice service and team working there. I totally recommend this place. And feel free to ask them about the tours they can offer !

Anything I write will sound too good to be true. The pictures do not do it justice. It is an elegant villa, with an old world feel to it. When you enter, you'll feel right at home. Gina is an excellent hostess - down-to-earth, friendly and generous. The rooms are tastefully done, cosy and comfortable. We stayed in both the boudoir and the library - both rooms are fabulous. Breakfast was just right - delicious and varied each day. We loved being there, and the only sad thing is that we could not stay longer and that the Gatsby cannot be magically transported to every place we will visit in our lives from here on. We thank Gina and her staff for spoiling us and kiss Bella (the dog)!

We had two fabulous nights in a beautiful spa suite in this superb hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - Moses being particularly attentive and helpful, and we loved the food: the excellent buffet breakfast including fresh oysters and dinner with a great menu served in a cosy restaurant with the talented in-house pianist adding to the ambience.

    I liked how well the staff welcomed me they are so friendly and they showed me around the place . The place has absolutely everything, a kicthen restaurant, a bar, gym, jacuzzi, a beautiful blue swimming pool, q braai area, a kiddies play room, a nailbar and a massage room. They have steam rooms and even a sauna room. The breakfast they made was so delicious and tasty and the chef was just as friendly as the people at the service desk. I am definitely coming back to this place again soon.

    I love everything about the place,peaceful, lovely location, the rooms wow wow wow and the staff is the best always willing to help,especially Isac and Goodwill they were even willing to wake up at 3am to make us breakfast as we were checking out at 4am. Thanks to Isac for taking me pictures, I posted them on my status. My friends and family couldn't believe that I was in Bedfordview, lol. They thought I went Cape Town or Durban, lol. They are coming.....
