The spacious and ultra luxurious rooms (which were well equipped and quiet) and the serene yet central location made us wish we booked a longer stay. Stunning location to explore the many activities and experiences that the town of Hoedspruit and surrounding area has to offer. Little shops, restaurants and of course the Greater Kruger are right on your doorstep. We were warmly greeted and the helpful and friendly staff assisted us in planning and arranging everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

I was in MILIMA with my boyfriend , Keelan. We love everything about MILIMA. The food, the staff, the game drives with Sidney.. We saw the big five! Sidney really did his best to see the leopard, was the last one. We will be back one day! Thank you MILIMA for everything and we recommend this place 100%! We love MILIMA ❤️❤️❤️

The lodge is half an hour’s drive from Hoedspruit. Then another 20 minutes to go through a gravel road. We were surprised by all the facilities. It’s very comfortable and even though the kitchen is small everything is there. It’s very quiet and you feel the nature around you. We had company of the monkeys who emptied all the garbage cans and came to drink water from the swimming pool the next day. The communication is fantastic via whatsapp, fast and enjoyable. Highly recommend to stay.

We spent 2 nights here and loved every second. The lodge is pristine and finished to perfection. So many beautiful details in the decor and the outdoor area. The staff were welcoming and super attentive, we never had to ask for a drink refill. The food was AMAZING, three course meals with some choices. But of course, the highlight was the twice daily drives, guides were super friendly and we saw 4 of the big 5. Tea and coffee and snacks and drinks served during the drive. The fine detail of our stay was incredible. This newly opened lodge is a gem and we feel lucky to have experienced it.

    Safari Moon is an amazing and rare combination of a place that makes you feel like you're part of a family + high quality and thoughtful service. Was a true delight! From the fun game drive around the Hoedspruit wildlife estate to arranging transport for me to go to my friend's new restaurant, it was such a good experience. Highly recommend!

    Excellent property, great location. Well organised with a host to meet on arrival and explain the various aspects of the property. The property is light, spacious and airy and works well as a family home with a great pool to keep the kids happy in. You are in the bush with plains game around but nothing that will create a problem for your family.

    Lovely, well equipped self catering chatel in beautiful surroundings. Nice decor and pleasant sitting area outside. Outside shower was fun to use during the daytime but I avoided using it in the dark in case of insects (the biting sort!). It was nice to be able to open the curtains in the bedroom in the morning and look out at the wildlife and still feel totally private. There was also a spacious bbq area, which although we didn't use, looked great for family bbqs.

    Beautiful and tranquil little lodge in a private reserve teeming with wildlife. We had breakfast and dinners at the onsite restaurant and food was bountiful and delicious. Staff were hospitable and warm - they even baked a birthday cake for the celebration of our child. The reserve was family friendly, and we had alot of good sightings of giraffes, zebras and kudus amongst many others.

    A family friendly spot, with a very welcoming and caring host! Annie is just the best! The unit we were in was perfect for a family of four - beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, crisp sheets. we loved the outdoor shower and the bath for the kids. We had amazing meals and service - Walter & Phindi thank you! A close-ish drive to Orpen gate, Kruger park. Best part was lounging around the pool.
