We wanted a night away to ourselves and this was a perfect choice for exactly that. Not even an hour's drive from Fourways, this spot provided us with an assessible and affordable option. I loved its rustic feel and very much enjoyed sleeping in the tent and having a braai just outside. The dogs were delightful and added to the experience. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

We enjoyed our stay at Rocky Mountain holiday home, the house was impeccable clean, the location was perfect, and the host was accommodative and helpful. We loved the fireplace, the fully equipped kitchen and felt right at home The pool was clean, it was just a breath of fresh air and it is closer to quite a number of activities. It was a lovely stay, I highly recommend.

Travelled with family from Botswana, loved the communication from the owner always ahead of us with helpful information …made sure we are okay all round and was available 24/7 …We had such a great time at this house , pictures don’t do it justice … the views are everything and the hospitality is more . .. make sure you stay in more to enjoy it!

The owners were welcoming they made us feel at home, they were available to assist at any reasonable time, the house keeping lady is so humble and friendly, the rooms had all the basic kitchen essentials, bathroom as well had everything needed, the gardens were beautiful the property in general is tranquil, spotless clean room,clean swimming pools and we liked the bench facing the Jukskei river

    We had a lovely stay at Derricks property. He was very friendly and welcoming as were his three dogs. The directions to the property were very detailed and we found our way there easily. The tent was in a beautiful spot in the forest / bush with the sounds of birds all around us. The tent was very comfortable and clean with lovely plush bedding and lots of pillows and blankets and sufficient lighting as well as a kettle and provisions for tea and coffee. Our children loved the adventure of staying in the tent and the rustic bush swing.
