We LOVED it, we felt already comfortable when we arrived and Lola arranged a wonderful wine tasting at their property for us, the location, the comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom, and the freedom to walk through the vineyard, just perfect! Breakfast was more than enough for us and we loved eating on the most beautiful terrace! The dogs are very friendly, everyone from the staff was kind, this was one of our favourite stays so far!! Stay here if you can!!

Exceptionally fast replies to our questions or requests. The host and all stuff were always helpful. 24/7 security, no worries about loadshedding - all cottages are off grid. The cottage was daily serviced incl. laundry.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Stellenbosch, Muratie Wine Estate is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Muratie is the most perfect vineyard in the Cape to get a true old fashioned experience but yet staying in great comfort. We knew Muratie from years back when we lived in South Africa and loved visiting it with our children. It thankfully has not changed at all and has kept its old world charm! Our cottage was superb, extremely comfortable and the sitting area outside was so private and cool. It was wonderful having the fridge there, well stocked with delicious wines at a good price. We loved the breakfasts, beautifully served in the heavenly garden and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant and really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting. We loved every second here and will definitely stay again when we return to South Africa. Definitely the best place to stay!

The room, the view, the host it's all amazing! We stayed in the loft, it is a tiny room but it has everything you need! A bed, a bathroom, a well equipped kitchenette and the balcony gives beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains! Kimi is a really warm and welcoming host, everything is possible! She even let us cook in her own kitchen! The loft does not have a stove, I did not checked this properly, so we brought groceries to cook our own meal. Luckily Kimi was so kind to let us cook this in her kitchen. However, the kitchenette is perfect to make your own breakfast!
