We were lucky to get a last minute booking here and we couldn’t fault our one night stay. From our arrival at the reception, the porter Sunshine’s friendly helpful service taking us to our beautiful accommodation, the plentiful supply of logs for the fire in our room, wonderful bath and toiletries and the delicious food both at dinner and breakfast the next day. The coffee at breakfast was the best hotel coffee I’ve had in a long time. The only disappointment was that due to load shedding we couldn’t use the spa facilities during our afternoon but I had a wonderful time using the pool , sauna etc the next day before walking back through the beautiful gardens before sadly having to say goodbye. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

11 out of 10! Looking for excellent accommodation and great hosts in Knysna? Look no further! Beautiful and spacious apartment, tastefully appointed and decorated. Kitchen with all utensils one can imagine. Fresh flowers everywhere. Perfect and quiet location with all hot spots in walking distance. And to top it off: Tina and Mel are the most wonderful hosts you can think of. Very kind and offering great advice what to do and where to go. In short: perfect for a couple of days - and more.

The property was phenomenal and extremely clean. The host was gracious and made us feel welcome. Additionally, she gave us multiple recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The apartment had great details which made it feel like a real home. I would stay there again!

Family friendly atmosphere. Hughe and beautiful garden, is perfect for playing football with my son 😀 There is even treehouse 🥰 All clean and design with good taste. Amazing breakfast all fresh from own garden and homemade cakes, tartas were amazing. We’ve been spoiled like in own parents house. The internet speed is great around 80mbps. We regret couldn’t stay longer. Hopefully see you soon somewhere 😘

The house (a true Manor) is very well located with great views of the lagoon/estuary and the surrounding forests. It is also nicely decorated with beautiful paintings from local artists. The site is big and very well maintained with nice lawns, flowers and vegetables. The room was very comfortable, well decorated and great space. Breakfast was very good with ample choice (Thank you Happy). Our hosts treated us like extended family, and we really felt like at home.

We loved everything in Chez Pierre, but if we could highlight the apex it would be the breakfast! It was amazing! We also loved the decoration of the house, all the details it has! The dogs are quite a charm and Pierre is a wonderful host. We would love to return!

Thoroughly impressed by the hospitality and charm of this wonderful guest house and its hosts, Diane and Rob. ROOM • The room was incredibly spacious (huge bathroom) and so tastefully decorated with a delightful color scheme, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Attention to detail second to none - loved the small library. • Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, and all the amenities were readily available. • Enjoyed spending time on the balcony, watching the birds and taking in the sunset. LOCATION • Situated in Leisure Isle, the location was idyllic and perfect for a peaceful getaway. • The area is rich in enthralling history, adding a layer of intrigue to our stay. Advise a Featherbed Nature Reserve tour to learn more about the area and to savour stunning views. • Felt safe and secure throughout visit at all hours, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy time there. HOSTS You really would be hard pressed to find more affable and easy-going hosts. They went above and beyond in ensuring that you were comfy, relaxed and had all info you needed to have an incredible stay. Unparalleled customer service is definitely front and center of their agenda. • Diane and Rob were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrived. • Diane is a fantastic communicator, always on hand, providing reassurance and great recommendations with all the accurate links, no doubt (restaurants etc.) before, during, and after trip. Thank you for checking in and following up after we left! • Rob was most generous with his time and also offered invaluable advice on places to visit, enhancing our overall experience. Enjoyed your recommendation of the Old Nick Village. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
