Mavela is like paradise on earth- the game drives were absolutely amazing, staff super friendly and the tent so luxurious. Convenient location, easy to find. Sean the owner was a great host and kept in contact prior to my arrival. I was late to check in but ensured I had food from the restaurant when I arrived. Allowed a slightly later check out and time to chill before I was collected by the group I was joining Great value for money, comfortable room, social space, bar and restaurant. Food was great value for money too. Staff were welcoming and helpful. If I’m in the area again will stay again.

The exclusivity and small number of guests made it very intimate. The staff were amazing and Neil was an extremely confident and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to make each game different from the last. The food was amazing as was the villa.
