A very warm welcome in colder winter times 😉 A nice touch were the electric blankets that warmed the bed. The diner was warm and filling, perfect after a day of driving. The place was very clean. My son loved the hot chocolate !

We needed a stop between Umfolosi and Kruger, our usual stop in Piet Retief unavailable. So tried Booking.com, so glad we did! What a lovely find in the mountains close by. Waldo & Isobel so welcoming, plus the Weimaraner and foxy Rocky Russell took us for a lovely walk into the forests in the evening. Lovely views and smells. Chalets immaculate and tastefully furnished with beautiful wood, made on the property. Comfortable bed with electric blankets. A beautiful sleep in country atmosphere. Thank you.

We had such a great stay at this amazing guest farm. It is clear that Gudrun & Johann, together with their team of friendly staff members, run Dusk to Dawn with a lot of love. We have nothing but the best to say about the warm welcome we received here and would definitely love to return one day. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the view over the farmland hills is stunning, and the breakfast was easily the most delicious one I had in South Africa! Another thing we enjoyed in particular was the variety of pre-cooked frozen meals available at the farm shop, which made for an excellent dinner option after long days of adventuring and exploring in the Piet Retief area. What an absolute gem of a place. Very modern finishes and the photos reflected exactly what was received. The units has everything and a bit more. The bed and linen was extremely decent and comfortable. I would definitely return and can highly recommend it.
