Received a complementary flask of port wine upon arrival which was a great suprise gift. We had a great time.

Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. Location was great . The cabin was lovely . I loved the little things they did to show care...the way the fireplace was prepared..there were LOTS of tea bags. There was glad wrap for the sandwiches . Charming and lovely

The Top Place Retreat features air-conditioned accommodation in Caveside. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The property offers bike hire and features a garden and outdoor fireplace. Beautiful rural location. Spacious and clean room, pleasantly decorated. Lovely breakfast options. Very clear skies where we had an impressive view of the stars. Also saw a few shooting stars. Plenty of native wildlife active at night (we saw a wombat, and many padamelons with little effort). Peaceful area, lovely for slow mornings. There is access to areas to walk. The hosts are very friendly and happy to show you around and share tips for where to go etc. Pat and Sharyn are estabilishing further on-site amenities which will improve the experience further. Would have loved to have stayed longer during our trip, but we were sadly doing a rather brief mini-tour of Tasmania. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends/family, and if back in Tasmania, we'd stay again.

The property was beautiful and very relaxing to come back to after a day of exploring. Breakfast supplies beyond exceeded expectations with local eggs, bacon, milk, juice, jam and more! We adored their 3 friendly dogs and their antics kept us well entertained in the evenings.

The brownies on check-in and free breakfast were both delicious. The provided board games and outdoor games made it easy to relax. No WiFi but we had strong cell signal with Vodafone and Telstra.
