The location is perfect. With private river access and our own boats, we were able to explore the area independently. The grounds are very spacious and well-maintained. The pool and bar are also great places to relax. The food is regionally focused, varied, and delicious. The kitchen caters to all tastes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff speaks perfect English, is very helpful, and has many valuable tips!

The breakfast was very good - lots of variety and different choices each day. The pool was lovely, clean and just right temperature. The gardens were really pretty. I loved the variety of flowering plants and trees. The birds that were attracted to the gardens were a real bonus. We saw toucans and parakeets on the first day. My bird watching husband was delighted.

The location of this pousada is excellent and is close to the main street. The receptionists are very nice and patient. when we encountered heavy rain, they provided us hot water. Especially, when we asked restaurant staff if they could boiled a few eggs for us, not only did they cook them, but also peeled the shell and brought them to us. they were so kind and thoughtful - it really felt warm and personal.

The food was delicious and the place very special. We did the horse riding. Although beginners, we felt very safe and the horses were so lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
