The owner greeted me and was attentive to my needs during my stay without intrusiveness. He even texted me that the restaurant would be open (normally closed on that day during the winter) in case I wanted a New Year's Eve meal. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the WIFI was excellent. An unexpected bonus: the washroom floor in my room was heated and it felt wonderful not to have to step on the cold tile after my shower!

Guests can enjoy free use of canoes, kayaks and paddle boats. Paddling the Oxtongue River to Ragged Falls is a popular activity. A children’s playground, volleyball court and horseshoe pits are also available. Clean and comfortable beds. The proprietor was very helpful and friendly.

Charming lodge, bigger than expected & having the whole place for ourselves. Very clean, with fully equipped kitchen + spices, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, oatmeal, oil, etc. Very nicely decorated house with cozy fireplace. Quiet environment. The host Maria who lives in the main house next door, was very friendly and made us feel at home and gave us a great tip for magnificent canoeing in the nearby Bonneschere park.

Stunning cottage, peaceful location, and views were out of this world with the display of autumnal colours. Comfortable and well maintained cottage, and the seating area outside on the deck was lovely. We were lucky with the weather, so we managed to make use of the dock and the lake. The owners were very helpful and responsive to any queries we had.

I’ve taken my time to write this review because it deserve it. The place is beautiful, Deborah (the host) is lovely and we slept like babies. Something you notice when you are doing a road trip for the east of Canada with a toddler 😅 So the place is also child-friendly. Mostly, baby-friendly as even if the bed is big, is big enough for two adults and one toddler only (ours is 1yr and a half). The cabin is small but very well distribute and so so clean.

A recently renovated holiday home situated in Dwight, Peaceful lakeside cottage great for a staycation. Features a garden. The property is around 300 metres from Dwight Beach, 16 km from Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course and 9.4 km from The Acres Driving Range Artisans Gallery. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful lakeside cottage. The location was absolutely perfect—quiet, scenic, and right by the water. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My family especially loved spending time on the deck and enjoying the beautiful lake views. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommended!

BowLakeHouse - Lakefront Cottage with Beach has a children's playground and a picnic area. Lake was beautiful, cottage lovely and all newly done up. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it all. The outside space was very nice, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, fireplace, company.
