Additionally, they offered a delicious wine for purchase, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The place was perfect, and it couldn’t have been done better!

Nowhere do the stars shine more intensely and the sunrises are more spectacular than on Pilatus Kulm. So close to Lucerne and yet in a completely different world.

The historic mountain hotel Pilatus-Kulm**** was built in 1890 and completely renovated in 2010. It has 27 superior double rooms and 3 junior suites, all with breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama. Every room comes with a TV. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. We stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly.

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. For guests with children, the bed and breakfast features outdoor play equipment. If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and hiking are possible in the surroundings and B&B Friedau can arrange a bicycle rental service. Nice, spacious and very clean rooms. Cows and pigs around the property (which the kids loved). Very kind host! She suggested we could still go for a swim in the Sempachersee and have something to eat by the water (very nice swimming area, just a few minutes away by car). Small, very friendly dog that came to play (after checking with us whether it was okay).

The luxurious Park Hotel Vitznau right at the banks of Lake Lucerne has been entirely renovated in 2012 and 2013 and features its own private beach, 2 restaurants, a large spa area and free garage parking. Everything was perfect.Staff were exceptionally,peaceful and Quality everywhere.
