The staff was very kind, they even prepared the extra bed for our 2 y.o.son which was not required from our part. We were really Happy for that.:) And yes, the hotel is not one step from the railway station, but I think people coming to mountains should not be lazy to walk 2 km, should they? ;) We were satisfied with everything. Thank you for a beautiful time we spent there.

Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi.

The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. The hotel was lovely, we stayed in room 101 in the building off to the left of reception and it was much bigger than we anticipated with a bath and really good decor.

The ARCA Solebad Wellness & Spa in Zermatt is located near the centre, the station, the Gornergrat train and the Sunnegga-Rothorn train and features up-to date wellness facilities including an indoor brine pool. The breakfast was very good. We liked the location.

We had a great dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. Parking was easy. Easy access to fabulous walks from the chair lift just up the road. Hotel is in a pretty little village with several other restaurants so there was choice. We didn't us the gym or sauna so cannot comment.
