We really liked the setup at the Hostal. The location was great, Our two hosts Daniel and Valentina were lovely and went the extra mile. Lovely hostel in a great location amongst the restaurants and shops in San Pedro de Atacama. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is included and it’s very good and you can request a takeaway box if you’re leaving early in the morning. The best part for me was the electric blankets on the beds. A lovely touch I’ve never had in another hostel.

The property is located at the end of the Main Street in San Pedro, big garden with hammocks and garden sofas. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom is very small, only slim fit people could have space. The staff were very attentive and helpful with everything you asked for.

I spent my vacation with Victor, the host. We felt welcomed and at home. I confirm the reviews here on Booking.com; they're all true, and that's what made the difference in our choice. We're independent travelers and were fortunate to spend our days here. Victor also organized our four days in Bolivia, keeping our car in private parking. The area is very quiet and safe, a 10-minute walk from the center and close to supermarkets. San Pedro is a tourist-friendly town; I loved it. We didn't have any problems with the cold, as we had both a radiator and an electric heater. The room was always cleaned every day. The breakfast was good and if you go away early, Victor prepared a food bag for you. If you need, he offers laundry service. Excellent rate quality-price, especially if you have to stay for many days. Victor always offers excellent advice. Thank you for welcoming us and making us feel comfortable! We love you! :-)

Just a 20 minute walk from the town centre, Planeta Atacama Lodge offers accommodation in the desert of San Pedro de Atacama. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Franklin and his wife Carla run an amazing B&B, a little outside the city which makes it a very good spot for star gazing. Since we came by ourselves with a rented car, Franklin gave us very good tips of where to go, suggesting routes, helping us with purchasing tickets for the places we wanted to go and giving us restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is generous and personalized and even when we needed to leave very early one day, they made an effort to leave a snack for us to go.
