The bedroom was comfortable, the hospitality was excellent, and the breakfast was very good. The staff were attentive and gave us great tips for sightseeing and local restaurants. The hotel has AI (XiaoDu). It doesn’t support English, but that’s not a problem.

The hotel has a terrace and city views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The building and my room were quite nice and comfy, breakfast was delicious and with a lot of options. Everyone in the reception was super helpful even though some of them were not that fluid in English, they’ll always did their best to help.

Guests at Encounter Garden Great Wall Holiday Guesthouse can enjoy billiards on-site, or cycling in the surroundings. absolutely loved staying here! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The dinners were exceptional—every dish was delicious. They even taught us how to make dumplings and kindly offered us a complimentary lift to the Great Wall. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely come back!
