The mattress in the bedroom was new and felt like memory foam even though I don't think it was. The breakfast was above average for a guest house like this. I highly recommend this location for the service, the facilities and overall experience.

The Hotel St Georg is a good base for hiking and cycling through the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park and along the River Aller. Children will also enjoy the playground, just 100 metres away. The breakfast room was wonderful. The food offerings were excellent by American standards, but just a little less than we experienced at other German properties on our trip. Freshness was the only detractor.

The hosts are amazing, the rooms are great, a delicious and fresh breakfast, handmade by Hilka, the charming hostess. The wonderful horse farm and the surrounding forests give peace and quiet. The place is suitable for families, individuals and any type of tourism. I was sorry to leave....
