Proper German guesthouse with tasty German food and excellent wine (Mosell) and good beer. Quiet and updated and lovely rooms. A real family run, super friendly gem. Excellent breakfast with coffee in a mug at the table, just as it's supposed to be.

This hotel offers free parking and a summer terrace. It situated in the pedestrian area, a 10-minute walk from Celle’s old town and a 5-minute walk from the Französischer Garten park. The breakfast room was wonderful. The food offerings were excellent by American standards, but just a little less than we experienced at other German properties on our trip. Freshness was the only detractor.

It was a super cozy tiny apartment, with many hand-made accessories and treacky things, in a German village. It was quiet and calm. The bed is very comfortable. The owner is friendly, her dogs are so cool. Recommended

This is extremely well designed, spacious and comfortable (as well as affordable) accommodation. This guest house has 6 rooms, all upstairs with a side entrance accessible via a provided door code. You will also receive a separate code for your room/apartment. You can also access the downstairs which has a kitchen and a 'breakfast room', and also an area for private events (I presume). Located on a residential street along the river Elbe (you can't see the river but it's only a 100m walk). You have no meals provided and there is no staff on site and you would probably need a car or at least a bike to get to any restaurant or cafe (all rooms should have a kitchens though). Free parking right outside and also good wifi. The design and details are really like a 5-star design hotel. Hamburg city center should be around 25 km away.

We also enjoyed dinner in their restaurant, it was fantastic, a clear recommendation if you have the time. Parking was convenient. The area was lovely for going for a walk.
