Although we only rented a room, it felt as though we had the entire house to ourselves — with a cozy living room, a library, a sprawling garden, and even a sauna. The house has a soul. It's filled with personal belongings from the owner’s family, old books, antique furniture, and vintage dishes, each item adding to its unique charm. Franziska’s breakfasts, prepared with care and heart, were absolutely outstanding. I truly hope this magical place continues to exist just as it is — losing it would be a great loss for both its past and future guests. So much love for this place. As for the area - you can rent bikes, a canoe, go hiking or swimming - whatever your soul desires!
