The host, Victor, was so helpful and patient with my questions. The bed was comfortable, the setting was gorgeous. Also the food!!! There Was so much of it and it kept coming. This was the best food I've eaten on this trip so far.

A kids' club is also available at Hostal Doña Clarita Inn, while guests can also relax in the garden. We liked everything! The people there are super cute and helpful, the rooms are super comfortable and well thought through and the food is just incredible! For all the vegetarian hikers, I wouldn’t even think one second and book this place again - it was the best vegetarian food I have eaten in south america :)

A continental breakfast is available at the hotel. Beautifully situated in the mountains, the hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff is kind and welcoming. I loved the yoga classes with Silke and the jacuzzi after a day of hiking. The bed was extremely comfortable with a fluffy duvet instead of those thick heavy ones you often get at hotels in this region. The food was incredible and there was always a vegetarian dish for me. I stayed 2 nights but could've easily stayed longer if I had the time.

A steam room is available for guests, along with a fitness centre. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. I rarely give 10 points but this place deserves it! yes it can be chilly at night, yes it is in the middle of the countryside (so you need a car to reach it) but the kindness of the owners are exceptional! My son got altitude sickness and the owners did their best to cure him + they helped us finding accommodation in other part of Ecuador without hesitation (since our mobil didn't work here). The dinner and the breakfast are tasty, fresh homemade and plenty. The same applies to the breakfast. The garden of the house is beautiul and well maintained and there is a nice panorama over the canyon. Quilotoa lake is a short drive from here. The hotel has turkish bath and sauna but we didn't try them at the end. The wifi is strong. :)

Highly accessible from the Panamericana, this place offers amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (many people stop here on their way up or down the Cotopaxi as the restaurant is renown all-around for its great food). Our host Fernando made sure we had everything covered and organized daily tours to any destinations (Illinizas, Cotopaxi Park etc.) with his guides. The rooms were smallish but very cozy and very calm

There is a children's playground and a barbecue at this property and guests can go cycling nearby. Really comfortable, cosy room. Real fire in room was a treat! Good quality, homemade food. Loads of animals including friendly dogs. Reception/dining area reminded me of a cosy English country pub. The hosts organised a guide at short notice to take us to Cotopaxi.

A recently renovated campground situated in Latacunga, La Cabaña de Ciela con jacuzzi y minigolf features a garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service.

Guests can dine in the in-house restaurant, which serves a variety of African dishes and also offers vegetarian and vegan options in a family-friendly atmosphere. Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.
