Located on El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, Paraiso del Bierzo is a renovated 19th-century butter factory, 40 km from Ponferrada. This rustic wood and stone building offers a free WiFi zone and free parking. Beautiful spot on the Camino, a little before the village. The setting is just superb. Dinner was nice and breakfast was decent but definitely the room and the view was the highlight. If the place is closed when you arrive, las Herrerrias has some great lunch options and only a short walk away.
