Bowness-on-Windermere
Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making it easy to visit Ambleside, Brockhole, Wray Castle and Lakeside without a car. 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

Great location. Family room (with the bath) was brilliant and perfect for families up to 4 people (and babies/toddlers). Everywhere was spotless and all amenities were modern and ‘fresh’.
Staff were amazing, we travelled with our dog and 4 month old baby, first stay-cation and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. We liked the size of the family rooms as there was enough room for us to bring our own cot bed and doggy bed. Location was perfect and we loved to catch the bus into Keswick so we could both enjoy a couple of drinks, buses were on until 9.30pm which was late enough for us. We would definitely stay again, great affordable hotel to use as a base for exploring the lakes.
The pool was great for the kids and the attedent was helpful and warm and friendly. We had reaaly good fun. The bar staff were also very helpful. The family room size was great and te room was quiet and we slept well.
We loved our family trip. Everything was close to place we were staying.Short trip about 15 min away from Town Centre and 15 min away from Lakes. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything you need to cook, good heating, electric fireplace, good shower. Kids had so much fun.Thank you for sweet Welcome basket😉
Everyone at the Inn was kind, accommodating and very helpful. This was a family holiday and the staff didn’t mind the extra asks or the exciting behaviour of the kids (busy toddlers!) - instead they were calm, friendly and having games and kids activity books handy. Also, really good coffee! Thank you! Can’t wait for a return visit:)
The cabin was stunning and had everything we could possibly need to make our stay as a family of 4 comfortable and enjoyable (including cot, high chair, stair guard, baby bath). The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a perfect touch and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. We can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be booking a return visit!
Great for families and the little touches for children were appreciated, like the named cookies, kids robes, bunk bed in the family room with curtains. Spa was good and never felt too busy.
