We parked in the car park at the end of the road, just a few minutes walk away The High Street was a few minutes walk in the other direction. Sophie was a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble. This historic former brewery boasts light and elegant rooms with rustic, original features and fine Egyptian linen. Just 45 metres from the beautiful riverside, the hotel features its own French bistro. Amazing staff from check in to departure, the restaurant was first class, the room was probably the best room I’ll ever stay in my life. Duplex apartment with a lovely industrial feel to it, but high end finishes throughout. Amazing shower area too. The sort of holiday where the room Is good enough to stay in and chill.
