This family-run bed and breakfast is a 4-minute drive from Wick village, where there is a pub, restaurant, shops and post office. The guest house is surrounded by farmland with sheep and horses and friendly cats and dogs. The place is very clean and comfortable, we had a really good night sleep. The breakfast was quite nice. It's a lovely and welcoming place, well located.

Situated 25 minutes drive from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, surrounded by quaint villages and stunning countryside, The Old Parsonage is a Grade II* listed 17th-century house, which retains many original features such as period fireplaces and a 17th-century staircase. The place is beautiful and has everything you might need. It’s cozy, comfortable, and visually charming — in my opinion, it has everything one could look for in this area. The vibe is super positive and relaxed: the perfect pause in a road trip, especially if you’ve been driving. What really made the experience even better was the host — incredibly kind, attentive, quick to help, and genuinely welcoming. And to top it all off, we got to meet the house puppy, who absolutely made our day and turned this stop into our favorite one on the journey
