The host was very welcoming and her breakfasts were amazing! She also went out of her way to provide gluten free breakfast. The location was great - in a much quieter area than Stepantsmida. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

The room was pretty, well-furnished, and everything worked perfectly (hot water, heating, etc). In addition, there is a shared kitchen with all new appliances as well as a large covered terrace with a perfect view of the Gergeti-Trinity Church and Mt. Kazbek, a great place to relax and watch the mountains. Parking was easily possible directly in front of the accommodation.

New modern building, very warm with heated floors. Convenient location -- 100m walk to the Shino lift, you can ski down to the hotel, and ski from the hotel to the lower lift with a good snow. Big apartments with panoramic windows overlooking the valley. This is a quiet area -- no noisy bars and restaurants around. Fantastic hospitality from Keti and very good food. Ask her for waffles :) On a flip side, if you need to go to shops and restaurants, you will have to walk 20-25 minutes to the center of New Gudauri or call for a taxi.

The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes. We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also. The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee. Also, note for Americans and Europeans -- breakfasts are served throughout this area at 9 AM. I definitely would stay at the Mood Hotel again.
