For guests with children, the apartment offers a baby safety gate. The apartment is spotlessly clean, quiet, spacious with a good size balcony (we stayed in Afroditi apartment with a sea-view). The location is perfect, especially if you do not have a car. The noisy road can not be heard, but the way from the main road is not long and not steep. Just around the corner there is a great cafe Dentrakia, a small supermarket is also close by, and the center of Vathy with all the nice restaurants, bakeries, cafés and shops are in a 10-minute walk. A gorgeous beach called Dexa is just 12-minute by foot. Hristo, the owner is super friendly, helpful, guest-oriented and very kind, fast in replying, though speaks little English, but the translation apps can help. There was daily cleaning and a change of bed-linen after two days. The kitchen is properly equipped, you can cook, bake, there is a kettle and a toaster, too. In the fridge 2 big bottles of water, and couple of small butter and jams were waiting for us plus a pack of rusk, coffee capsules, tea-bags and sugar. The bathroom is not big, but also very clean, toiletries were provided, the water pressure was perfect and hot water was always available. The air-condition functioned very well, too. We highly recommend to book Iris Apartment which is in a traditional Ionian Ithacan house for your stay in Ithaca.

Set in a listed Venetian house in Vathi, boutique hotel Korina Gallery offers luxurious rooms with view to Vathi port. Its pool area offers deck chairs, a table, Indonesian sun beds and a comfortable seating space. The breakfast was wonderful and the women assisting with the serving and overall breakfast were very kind and sweet. The quality of the breakfast was great and satisfied is an understatement!! Loved it!

The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Port of Ithaki. We are a couple who stayed in the ground floor apartment. A previous reviewer pointed out that this apartment does not have 2 bedrooms. They are correct. It has one bedroom, one bathroom and two single beds in an open plan living room and kitchen. The layout is unusual but quirky and very pleasant. A large number of individual touches to the apartment make it cosy and whilst the kitchen and bathroom are on the small side they are functional and the kitchen is well stocked. The outside space is lovely and there is plenty of outdoor seating. There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes away and it is slightly further to the delightful harbour area with places to eat and drink. The owner and her mother were very friendly and helpful. There are 2 beach areas, each about a 30 minute walk from the apartment (we had no car) where swimming is possible and beach shoes are a good idea.

Location was 1 street back from the main road, so little noise. Walking distance to town. Lots of restaurant and bar choices. Vathy is a good town to use as a base for exploring. The view from the mountains is stunning, and we really enjoyed the lovely morning walk down to the village of Stavros.
