I stayed two night with my daughter- it was only a quick visit, and the hotel was absolutely beyond my expectations; the hotel was out of their main season hence breakfast was not overloaded but they prepared anything fresh you wished for. I have stayed during 15th of March and my daughter had an accident so we had to wash her clothes but the closest laundry shop was closed due to national holidays, so we were in trouble but the cleaning was so kind she washed and dried all of my daughter's clothes to be ready for the next morning. To be honest, I have never experienced such a high level of kindness anywhere in Budapest. I am absolutely sure next time I will stay there again! Outside the hotel, just on the other side of the road there is a great playground area for kids. Airport is super close as well as a big shopping center. They were all very convenient for us considering that we stayed only for two nights. The food in the restaurant is amazing and super fresh and tender, I highly recommend!

The location was amazing, very close to the main attractions, good restaurants and airport express bus. The staff was very helpful: amid my stay they sent a survey to my email and I wrote (not that important note) about the towels being old. In 5 minutes, I had new towels delivered to my room which is what you call “caring for customer”. The room was spacious enough, silent and clean. Definitely I would rebook.

Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest is situated within 600 metres of Fisherman's Bastion, 700 metres from Chain Bridge and it is close to several noted attractions. The hotel offers 24 hour reception and free WiFi all areas. The breakfast was exceptional. The addition o lecso is a brilliant choice, as it is both traditional Hungarian and vegan! Not many hotels have a vegan option other than a few veggies for breakfast, this one does. The location was also good, it was our first time on the Buda side of the city and we had everything we needed within walking distance. Across the street there are very good restaurants and cafes, such as Zerge and Horgásztanya fish restaurant. Also, the reataurant right in the hotel looked very good, but we didn't try. We were offered a free room upgrade, so that's always a nice addition. The room was spacious enough and offered some closet space to put away clothes, more than enough for a weekend. The premises are also very beautiful, the monastery is a good combination of both historical feel and modern equipment. We also encountered no kids, so this made the stay more pleasant. The parking is OK, 20e for a night seems about right, they even let us keep the car parked for a couple of hours after checkout, so that we can go for a lunch and so a bit of sightseeing.
