TheJungleGuide - Lodges & Treks has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Bukit Lawang. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a water park. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Comfy beds, sweet, friendly hosts/workers who were very accommodating, the huts are very cool looking (hammocks). It’s amazing they’re really in the jungle but still nearby where you wanna be. A good price for what you get. Washrooms are nice and clean. Everyone hangs out in the main shared area (restaurant area) and plays guitar and plays cards in the evening (but not too late, quiet hours are respected). During the rainy season, you can swim in the pools of the waterfall that is literally one second away from the lodge.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Rambai Tree Jungle Lodges - Family Friendly features a garden, terrace, massage services, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. We stayed there before and after a 4 day jungle trek during the low/wet season. The bungalow was located on the river, right at the edge of the jungle. There are frequently macaque and Thomas's leaf monkeys in the trees and jumping on the roof. You can leave non-food items on the patio (like clothes drying after the jungle), but the host advised us to keep the door locked when we aren't around to keep them from coming in. We specifically chose somewhere without AC to acclimatize to the temperature and humidity, but ventilation inside was good. Porters met us at our taxi to carry the luggage through the village and across the bridge, which was appreciated.

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Bukit Lawang. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi. Best place to stay in Bukit Lawang!! Beautiful location right on the river, surrounded by nature and beautiful views, a retreat from the busy-ness of town. It is only a short motorbike ride into town, and you can walk ~10 mins to get to an alfamart/indomaret. I did 2 days jungle trekking with Andi who was a great guide. We saw lots of orangutans and other wildlife, and he shared a lot of great information about the jungle. I went with a group and he was very attentive with the guests and everyone's different needs and comfort levels with the hiking. Dika, Dedek, and the rest of the family were so friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything, and make an amazing breakfast which is included. Andi arranged a car to and from the airport. Wifi was functional most of the time, which was helpful because I spent a lot of time working remotely in the restaurant. Bed in my room was very firm and comfortable, which is important to note because some different guesthouses where I've stayed have had very squishy, sinking beds. Bathroom has good showerhead water pressure, a western style toilet, and bidet. They provide toilet paper if needed. Towels also provided. Screens on windows prevent mosquitos from getting inside, and there is a fan inside the room for when it gets hot. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and a family business that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

Located in Timbanglawang, Orangutan Treks Villa & Eco-Friendly Jungle Trekking Activities features accommodation with seating area. This villa offers free private parking and full-day security. The villa provides a restaurant serving American cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. We spent 3 nights in the Villa. We were extremely well received by the manager "Dady Cool" and his team. Everyone is kind, friendly and caring!!! They are available at any time of day to help you with anything! We also went for a jungle trekking that was just amazing ! I totally recommend booking activities with them ! For the villa, you'll find everything you need in your room (and if something missing, they will do their best to help) On top of that, the breakfast and the whole dining menu are really delicious. Don't hesitate to eat there, you won't regret it Thanks again to all the team for the amazing moments we spent there !

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. The best part of the property is the staff. Owner, Tyson welcomed me explained everything needed. A young lady working at the cafe (Diza, sorry if I mistaken the name)made me one of the best meals in Indonesia I’ve ever tried. Sweet dog and cat were also welcoming and slept under my room’s door at night. The room was simple but very clean with beautiful garden setting. The location is a little bit out of town, but walkable and very quiet. Tyson also organized a jungle trek for me and that was also very good. We saw 8 orangutans)

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang features accommodation with free WiFi and seating area.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

The lodge offers an Asian or halal breakfast. wonderful staff which goes out of their way to make your trip perfect. flawless and highly reliable organization including airport transfers, an unforgettable jungle tour and even to go to a local wedding. accommodation was spotlessly clean set amidst a beautiful garden. the tour guides on the 2 day orang Utan jungle tour were Johnny assisted by Risky, and both were simply awesome, always looking after my safety, and Risky scouted to find orang utans and we saw 7 up really close away from the other groups. I especially liked how respectful Johnny was with these amazing creatures, ensuring we keep a respectful distance but giving me lots of time to observe and enjoy. the overnight stay was highly memorable, we had PI as our private cook who cooked 5 different delicious dishes and a very tasty breakfast. can only highly recommend visiting Bukit Lawang and am sure there is not better way to experience it by staying at green Travelodge.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was really chill, with some staff members even playing guitar during the day. The food was tasty and reasonnably priced. Situated in Bukit Lawang, On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.

On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours offers a children's playground. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.
