We stayed here because it’s halfway between the Cliffs of Moher and Dublin. We did Dublin one day and the Cliffs another. Worked perfect for us. And we even visited Clonmacnoise that is right next door which was great. Also, the breakfast was great and they were VERY flexible on what time to have breakfast ready for us which was perfect. Highly recommended!

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The property was centrally located close to the super cute town of Edenderry. We rented a car and we were able to visit Cork, Belfast, the Cliffs of Moher, Belfast, and Dublin during our five day stay. The house was on a beautiful piece of land surround by green pastures. It was awesome hearing the sheep and cows every morning and night. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond. We loved their two dogs who would welcome us home in the evening after we came back from exploring Ireland. It was a home away from home.

The house is spotlessly clean, Carmel and her husband Billy invited me for a nice evening tea and chat, and breakfast was very generous. The house is located at the end of a cul de sac surrounded by farm fields, but in reasonable walking distance from Birr town center (and Carmel offered me a lift if I didn’t want to walk). The local bus also picks up a few minutes’ walk away.
